SPOKEN ESSAY
(Politics and Government)
The story of Magdalena Jalanadoni points us to a view in life that during their time, there are a lot of differences in regards to the rights of men and women.During their time , writing was a masculine domain, reserved extrusive for men. There are male-dominated society at that time. Women just had to fulfill purely ornamental and domestic functions for them , and therefore, there were feminine arts of painting .
Very unfair right ?Both men and women are made by God . How can society possibly treat women like that ? Women can also do what men's can .
But As of now, men and women are exposed to perform certain roles in the society. And if we are going to look back on our history, female voices were not been heared by the general public in the society. But we are very lucky that we live in a generation where , there lies a democracy. A democracy that gives men and women a fair equality.
Now, every people has a right in the eyes of the government. Both men and women can do things freely where there are no barriers that can block their way.
Now, women's can be a member in politics . They can be put into a government positions and they can perform activities than men also can .
We have to accept the fact that not all the time we have this freedom . We also has limitations to be accept with . But it's glad to hear that that society changes already . And this changes helps change our society.

POEM
- San Juanico Bridge
Aking nasilayan
Taglay nitong kagandahan
Naaninag ng malapitan
Taglay nitong kariktan
Tunay na marikit
Mata'y wag nang ipikit
Idilat ng pilit,
Pagmasdan ! Nakakaakit
Maglakbay ka kaibigan
Sa lugar ng Tacloban
Babaybayin mo ang kahabaan
San Juanico Bridge ang ngalan
Munting paraiso
Sa puso'y nakakapaso
Nag-iisang lugar sa mundo
Babalik-balikan ko
